The Power of "Thank You” – Bringing people together !

On my 36th birthday, I wanted to gift something to myself but realized that it’s not about me – it’s about everyone who helped me reach here.

Thanks to my parents who gave me life. Thanks to my school, college and business school teachers who taught me the best lessons. Thanks to my excellent mentors in the workplace who encouraged me to do the impossible things. Thanks to my wife and six year old daughter who are my pillars of constant support. And above all, thanks to the Almighty who wants me to stay in this beautiful world and make it even more beautiful.

In my 12 years of professional career in management consulting and leading large teams, I sincerely believe that saying ‘Thank You’ helps you stay focused and grounded. It helps teams to stay motivated, encourage collaboration and strengthen trust-based relationships. Saying ‘Thank You’ to clients, not just because they give business, but also because they are enabling us to be a partner in their journey. Saying ‘Thank You’ to all internal teams (IT, Compliance, Human Resources) helps us show we understand their conflicting priorities. Saying ‘Thank You’ to our mentors as they help us see the bigger picture enables a stronger bond.
