Power

Power

As a young child, you may have connected to your power in many ways. You had the power to save others, attack, defend, be the best, etc. Your power was fed through your imagination and was, in some cases, your sacred space. Your power was created in your mind.

As we grow up, if our relationship to power stays in our minds we will all become delusional, unable to listen, disconnected from others, and unable to embrace life as it unfolds. Our power has nothing to do with our ability to conquer, control, attack, defend, protect, or destroy. This unstable form of power creates constant agitation. We then live in survival mode; our life has no meaning, and we create a reality that becomes more distorted and more rigid.

Our true power relates to the power of self-expression; it is directly connected to our true self and our purpose. When we use this power of self-expression, life becomes meaningful; and we feel free. Let’s experience this grown-up nature of power together and remember why we came here.
