The Power of Sport
The Marketing Industry Sprintathon 2022

The Power of Sport

It’s hard to think of anything that has the power to inspire, unite cultures, break down barriers, effect change and reach a global audience quite like sport. And with a bumper summer of sporting events around the corner, there is a myriad of opportunities for marketers to reach new and engaged customers.

?In this issue, we look at different aspects of sports marketing from the power of superstar athletes driving government policy to the collective strength of big team brands. We also listen to the CEO of The FA on the huge growth of the women’s super league and three business leaders mull over whether sport can truly deliver value for the CMO.
