I believe that there is a certain power in self-expression of opinions and ideas when communicating the things that we desire to learn more about ourselves, people and the world we live in today.

Voice Of The Community

We are living in a very exciting and crucial time today, when the voice of our communities are being heard louder and clearer than ever before through several mediums. It’s also a great time for women who are finding their authentic voice in society, which can be very enlightening and liberating when it comes to discovering truth, purpose and meaning in the things we consider relevant through the voice of empowerment and self-expression that inspires us to reach deeper within our hearts and souls.?

Inspired To Write

I too, was inspired to let my voice to be heard after my breast cancer journey, and experience of not fully understanding much about this disease and its effects on my health personally at the time of my??diagnosis, as well as the impact that it curtainly has on our society as a whole, which caused me to question things in a whole new way to gain a better understanding about this cancer in the world. I was literally surprised by how little we actually don't know about a situation until it really hits home.?

So, I knew this was one of the first things that I wanted to really hone in on when I started producing these programs. Not just to bring better awareness to the disease, but to create some real straight talk conversation around this topic from all aspects that would give others a new perspective in which to share their voice.

Imagine that if by just being more informed and having better understanding of how to live healthier lives we ourselves can be more proactive when it comes to helping in preventing cancer and many other chronic diseases in our own lives. With this in mind, just imagine?how much more is possible just by adding a little bit of straight talk surrounding this topic in general. For instance how families and relationships manage to survive such an horrific diagnosis, self image issues, intimacy and financial burdens, just to name a few.
