The Power of Relationships: How Our Core Values Guide HCC

We’d like to share something near and dear to our hearts (pun intended)—two of our core values. We strive to be a high-touch organization and we commit to inspire trust in our customers. These are attributes that we pursue and to which we commit every day.

To us, the term “high-touch” refers to an approach that emphasizes personal interaction and attention to detail. We seek a deep level of engagement and communication with our customers, with an emphasis on building trust and rapport.

When we talk about high-touch interactions, what we mean is that we frequently check-in with our partners, we provide personalized outreach, and we are willing to go above and beyond in meeting their needs. We use this approach because we believe this is the best way to serve our partners’ needs and build long-term relationships. This approach is about fostering strong connections and building long-term relationships based on mutual trust and understanding.

We believe in providing our partners with:

  • Relationship-driven service—A focus on building long-term relationships with partners through regular communication.
  • Customized solutions—We take the time to understand each partner’s unique need and tailor our services accordingly.
  • High-quality service—Exceptional service at every stage of the partner relationship, from initial engagement to ongoing support.
  • Deep expertise—Our staff has decades of experience and expertise and a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Collaborative approach—Working closely with our partners, taking a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Attention to detail—Meticulous in our work, paying close attention to even the smallest details to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Holistic perspective—Taking a comprehensive, big-picture view of our partners’ needs, considering not just immediate challenges but also long-term goals and objectives.

The second core value we’d like to share with you today is trust. Trust is defined as a belief or confidence in the reliability, integrity, and honesty of a person, organization, or thing. When someone trusts another person or entity, they believe that the other party will act in good faith, honor their commitments, and maintain a sense of transparency and openness in their interactions. We believe trust is built over time through positive experiences, honest communication, and consistent behavior, and it is a crucial component of any healthy relationship or business transaction.

We also believe that high-touch practices and trust go hand in hand:

  • Demonstrated expertise—An experienced and knowledgeable team who can provide valuable insights and advice to our partners, demonstrable through their credentials, past successful projects, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Building strong relationships—Focus on building strong, long-term relationships, including active listening, effective communication, and understanding partners’ needs and concerns.
  • Responsiveness—This means not only responding promptly to inquiries and concerns, but also having the ability to make quick decisions based on our partner’s need.
  • Providing transparency— We keep partners informed throughout the project about our methods, processes, and results in order to help build trust and credibility.
  • Delivering quality work—Strive to deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds partner expectations. This includes delivering projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on achieving the partner’s goals.
  • Maintaining confidentiality—Strict confidentiality is imperative when it comes to our partners’ sensitive information.

Overall, trust is an essential component of successful relationships, and it is important to cultivate and maintain it through consistent actions and behaviors that demonstrate reliability, integrity, and honesty.

Here at HCC, we live our core values and are dedicated to doing what it takes to develop and maintain trust, in part by using our signature high-touch approach to develop close, long-standing partnerships with our customers.
