About this tool

Power Query is a powerful data loading and transformation tool as part performing data analytics.

It is used in both Power BI and Excel via the Get Data function.

As I often do research on Power Query M functions I've designed this Dashboard that displays links to Microsoft's website.

It's quicker and easier to find what you are looking for and it's great as a reference guide.

This Dashboard gets updated once a month - please bookmark the link for future reference.

Navigation

Summary of all Power Query M Language Categories

On the main page, you will find a list of all Power Query M Languages by category.

Simply click on the category you want to drill down into.

Once you find the function you wanted then click on the url to take you to Microsoft's website to find out more info.

Displaying all functions

By navigating to "All Functions" on the main page, you can display a list of Power Query M Language functions across multiple categories.

You can either do single select or multi-select by holding in Ctrl and making your selections.

Once you find the function(s) you wanted then click on the url to take you to Microsoft's website to find out more info.

By navigating to "Search for Functions" on the main page, you can search for a list of Power Query M language functions by either their function or by description.

You can also either do single select or multi-select by holding in Ctrl and making your selections.

I hope you find this tool useful in your day-to-day Power Query work.
