The other night, a friend told me over dinner that, after 25 years in the same job, she was ready for a career change.
At 52, she found the idea daunting—she felt like there was nothing else she knew how to do. It reminded me of my own leap 10 years ago. I decided to stop being a makeup artist—something I’d dreamed of doing since I was 12—and re-trained to become a health coach.
It was scary to give up what I knew so well, but as soon as I made that decision, it was a full-body YES.
Sometimes, life moves so fast ???? that we don’t stop to ask ourselves the big questions.

When was the last time you got so caught up in something that you completely lost track of time? Maybe it was painting ??, ceramics, or solving puzzles ??. These moments of deep involvement often point to what energises and fulfils you.
Ask Your Friends ??
Your friends and family often see your strengths before you do. ??♀? Ask them, “What do you think I’m amazing at?”
Their answers might surprise you—and reveal unexplored talents!
??One thing I often share is that you don’t need to find just BIG purpose. It is actually more rewarding to focus on living daily with purpose instead.??
