The Power Of Purpose ...

I was reminded today that finding joy, passion and purpose in what you do brings order and so much fulfilment in to our lives.

It's such an easy block to forget, when you're building your future castle. We constantly strive to tread the boards, to pay the bills, to keep appointments, to remember non-pupil days! Yet without joy, passion and purpose - what is there to be truly enthused about and how do we laugh in the face of our mistakes and wobbles?

If forgetting the fundamental foundations in our days is so easy, why does it feel so hard to keep remembering they are there?

In a world where so much can change in just one day, it can feel so hard to find purpose and passion in what we do. Times of uncertainty or turbulence can be a challenge to work through, and they can (and do!) happen daily! But it’s really blinkin important, even on those days that feel full of grey and lacking of colour, to remember that life is still filled with possibility.

Finding your own sense of purpose in what you do doesn’t really have to be hard. It starts with recognising the value of contributing to something meaningful in your own special and unique way.

Whether it’s making time for a walk and coffee with a dear friend, writing an article to post on LinkedIn, or taking the time to read a chapter of that book you long to have time to finish; being present and able to see the impact of your actions can give you the greatest sense of satisfaction and purpose.

Surround yourself with people and experiences that inspire you, and try to stay aligned with your personal values and aspirations. Find those 'Tigger' projects that give you Goosebumps, make a conscious decision to live life for your favourite self.

Being able to make a positive difference can give you confidence, purpose, passion and drive to make an impact in the world ... no matter how micro!

It takes courage and resilience to take that first steps, but no matter what the challenges you face, stay focused on what makes you unique and make the most of it.

The world can be a complex and cruel place, but one thing that will always stay the same is your purpose, passion and uniqueness.

Enjoy that coffee with a friend, laugh out loud and most of all ... be your favourite self more!
