1. Ground Breaking Ceremony at BSES Kirlokari Sub Station

We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking ceremony of the first standalone utility-scale BESS project in India at BSES Kirlokari Sub Station. This event, which took place last month, marks a significant step forward in enhancing the energy infrastructure in the region. The project aims to bolster energy reliability and efficiency, reflecting our dedication to innovative energy solutions. Key stakeholders from BSES, industry leaders, and our committed team were present to celebrate this milestone, underscoring our collaborative spirit. The project is slated to be completed within 10 months.

2. DERC Order

We are excited to announce that the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has approved the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at the Kilokari Sub-Station. This 20 MW/40 MWh project stands out because it requires no capital expenditure (CAPEX) from the DISCOM.

Awarded by BRPL to Kilokari BESS Pvt. Ltd - a consortium of AmpereHour Energy and IndiGrid 2 Limited, is set to deliver this state-of-the-art storage facility. Our proposal was ranked L1 in the financial bid and T1 in the technical evaluation, showcasing our competitive strength and technical proficiency.

This project aligns with the Ministry of Power’s guidelines on BESS procurement and utilization, emphasizing renewable energy integration, enhanced grid stability, and reduced power purchase costs for consumers.?

3. Welcoming Our CSO and New Team Members

We are excited to welcome Mr Mallikarjuna Bhuvaneshwari as our new Chief Strategy Officer. His extensive experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to expand and innovate. Alongside Mr.?Mallikarjuna, we have welcomed several new colleagues across various verticals, their diverse expertise and enthusiasm are already contributing to our dynamic team. We look forward to achieving great things together and driving forward our mission of transforming the energy landscape.

4. Giga Factory Inauguration Ceremony

On May 10th, 2024, we proudly inaugurated our latest manufacturing facility. This state-of-the-art factory, with a capacity exceeding 1.2 GW per year, is a testament to our growth and ambition. Equipped with the latest battery assembly line, testing equipment, and R&D facilities, it will significantly increase our production capacity, enabling us to meet the rising demand for advanced energy storage solutions. We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and look forward to delivering even more robust and reliable energy solutions.

5.?India's First?Energy?Storage Powered Music Tour

In a groundbreaking initiative, we are proud to partner with fusion rock band?Swarathma?for? India's first-ever energy-storage-powered music tour. This innovative tour uses solar-powered energy storage systems to power the entire event, showcasing the practical and creative applications of our technology. As a first, we also launched energy storage systems on a?short or long-term rental model, which is gaining interest from various industries with temporary power needs. This project not only highlights the versatility of energy storage solutions but also promotes sustainable practices in the entertainment industry. We are thrilled to be part of this unique venture and look forward to many more such collaborations.
