The Power of Process: Lessons Learned in Completing My 12-Week Copywriting Course

In today's Newsletter, I'd like to share a small win I had for this week.

I just received feedback for my copy of a 12-Week Copywriting Course I enrolled in and I was the last man standing. ??

During these 12 weeks, I learned a ton about Copywriting, from Market Research to writing Sales Letters, Email Copy, Mapping out funnels, and using AI.

It was not an easy road though.

Each week we had several tasks to complete and we had to meet deadlines to receive feedback on our copy.

Here are some of my takeaways from this learning experience:

  • Invest in your self-education; Jim Rohn said it best, formal education will make you a living, and self-education will make you a fortune. I have a lifelong skill I can use to help businesses get more leads, and sales and retain their customers
  • Make time for important things; I had to juggle working and studying and completing my tasks. One thing I could say I did well and why I was the last man standing was because I carved a portion of my day to spend learning and doing our weekly tasks to get better at writing copy
  • Trust the process; there were days when I wondered if hand-copying some of the classic sales letters would help me out in becoming a better copywriter, but, since this was part of the task, I just followed and thankfully, it has helped me become better with my writing process and discerning parts of a sales copy

I hope this edition of my newsletter has helped you continue with your journey toward self-development.
