The Power of Presence: How ‘Showing Up’ is Transforming our Business

Just showing up – it sounds simple, doesn't it? Being present, open, and ready, whether it's at the gym or in the boardroom, is more than half the battle. It’s not just about physical presence; it's about the commitment, the energy, the attention, dedication, and passion we bring every day.

?

At Ardent Global Logistics, showing up goes beyond just being there. In the first quarter of 2024, we've committed to being physically present where it counts—on our customers' doorsteps, tradeshows, and at every potential touchpoint. From Ohio to Las Vegas, from meetings in New Orleans to conventions in Mexico and Long Beach, and from Kansas to Orlando, we've been there, demonstrating our dedication face-to-face.

?

Engaging directly has brought us unique opportunities. For instance, after liaising digitally with a customer for over a year, servicing their business without actually meeting, we decided to meet in person this past February. The impact was immediate: during our meeting, the Vice President of Purchasing just popped in to acknowledge the significant value we've added, crediting us with saving their production line from costly delays due to a shipment that needed to get out the day Lunar New Year celebrations started in Asia. This moment underscored a crucial lesson: personal interactions drive powerful results. The depth of discovery and conversation goes much deeper in person.

Our ethos at Ardent is to do common things in uncommon ways. While showing up might seem straightforward, its effects are profound. It's about listening intently, setting aside our agendas, and being truly focused. This approach doesn't scale easily, but it creates real, meaningful impact—our customers can feel the difference.

?

As we continue to expand and engage with our clients and prospects, we will continue hold true that the simplest acts often lead to the most significant outcomes.

?

We show up, not just to be seen, but to connect, solve, and ultimately, deliver on our promises in ways that only we can.

?

Showing up among the most powerful things you can do for business, especially when the conversations are not in one’s favor. It shows discipline & dedication.
