Power of Prayer from the heart

Power of Prayer from the heart

We all pray in some form or the other. People from all the faiths and religions believe in prayers and they also believe that their prayers are being answered by God in their respective form. The power of prayer is so great that where we can't reach physically our prayers can reach and the effect of the prayer to the universe is so strong that all the prayers are answered in some way or the other. We know this more when we are facing troubles or problems in life and we are feeling helpless we just pray to god and believe in the faith in him that he will take care of us in this period of crisis and he really does... that is the real prayer of power.

Matthew 18:19 Again I say to you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Prayer, an act of communication by humans with the sacred or holy—God, the gods, the transcendent realm, or supernatural powers. Found in all religions in all times, prayer may be a corporate or personal act utilising various forms and techniques. Of course, there are different types of prayer: various iterations of supplication, thanksgiving, and praise, practised via incantation, hymn, silent prayer…the list goes on. Sometimes people pray for personal benefit. Other times, for the benefit of others. Most major religions involve prayer in some form or other.

Many accept that prayer can aid in recovery due to psychological and physical benefits. It has also been suggested that if a person knows that he or she is being prayed for it can be uplifting and increase morale, thus aiding recovery. The best form of prayer is really -- it is your form of prayer. It is your way of saying to God I love you, I care about you, I need you, I am sorry God I did something I shouldn't have done. It is your willingness to treat someone as so special in your life that he is the very reason that you are alive.

Before saying a prayer, focus on God. Be aware that God is there with you while you pray and that God is listening to every word that is being prayed. Be attentive and receptive to God's voice during the prayer. Individuals must first seek to be filled with the Spirit of God if they desire to lead a deeper prayer life. The most typical closing to a prayer in Christianity is “Amen”. Amen means “it is true”, which reaffirms everything you just prayed. In Islam, it is said as " Ameen", In Hinduism it is said "Tathastu" which all mean " So Be It".

God never does answer our prayers if the things for which we ask are going to hurt us or be detrimental to us in any way. As Christians doing our best to live a godly life, God won't answer those prayers which interfere with His will for our lives. In Islam, before initiating the salat, it is important that you have the intention to pray. Raise your hands up next to your ears and shoulders, then say Allāhu akbar (???? ???????). This translates to "Allah is the greatest." Do this while standing (or sitting if you can't stand). Place your right hand over your left hand. The Tashahhud is followed by the Taslim, also known as the Salam. The bare minimum is to say "as-salamu ?alaykum" (Arabic: ?????????? ???????????, lit. 'peace be upon you'). It is highly recommended, though, to add "wa-ra?matu -llāhi wa-barakātuh" (Arabic: ?????????? ???????? ??????????????, lit. In Hinduism and Buddhism, they pray with both hands folded in front of God and mostly eyes closed while saying prayers.

Whatever is your faith or language, prayer is the most beautiful and divine form of being closer to God and God always listens to the prayers done from the heart of the devotee. We are blessed with the grace of God in various forms and we are not even aware sometimes that our prayers are being answered. Therefore just have faith and belief in God and PRAY.
