The Power of Possibility

The Power of Possibility

All we are given is possibilities—to make of ourselves one thing or another. –Ortega y Gasset

Possibilities: Abilities or qualities that could make someone or something better in the future. Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary

Possibility is only as positive and one chooses to make it. The possibility of dying in an airplane crash versus the possibility of achieving a goal are almost two separate meanings to this word. Powerful possibility takes on the notion that positive situations, more than negative, can occur.

The power of possibility is not created through thin air. Thoughts, verbal expression and action create the atmosphere for possibilities to happen. If a thought is relayed through words, a solidification of action takes place. This one word can have a reversal of what lies ahead, just from vocalizing. A feeling of freedom can transpire by equipping the mind with an overview of change. Happiness, contentment, relief or a lack of fear often follows when a possibility exists.

There are no limits as to how far power and freedom can go in the world of possibilities. Values become more important, adrenaline begins to pump and a sense of reality, to a once impossible scene, is able to be conquered. Creating an environment where all things are possible begins with language that inspires and encourages to make a call to action.

Expectations can be achieved. Breathe the word, feel the word and speak it with authority that a change is on its way. This is the power of possibility.
