'The Power of Positivity'
“I can’t believe how far we’ve got to go” sighed Tiny Dragon.
Big panda gazed out across the river and said:”I can’t believe how far we’ve come.”
I have always found the ‘Big Panda and Tiny Dragon’ drawings deep and so interesting. It is so magical how you can communicate so much with few words and their art stories have been inspirational.
The story above so beautifully depicts the Power of ‘Positivity’. So often, we face moments where we don’t know what to do next and we feel lost. This, in a way, triggers a cycle of fear and insecurity and our mind starts racing at supersonic speed, but in a negative direction.
It is, precisely at this moment, where we need to break the loop! And believe me, it is difficult, but not impossible. Having practiced this myself for several months now, I have realized it takes just one powerful positive thought or belief to shatter all negativity. And indeed, it a journey of self-belief, of making decisions to step away from negativity, of living life with gratitude over doubt, and definitely, a journey that we can conquer, only if we believe!
I vividly remember when I made this painting, my mind was full of doubt, heart was filled with fear. COVID was on its peak, we were all home-locked and had nowhere to go. It was 5:30 AM in the morning and suddenly I heard the sparrows chirping and a soft wind started blowing. The sky looked pristine blue and greens had turned shining green. And it was in that moment I realized how the entire nature was being revived , as if a new phoenix was getting born from the ashes( isn’t this how we had turned our environment- into ashes).
And this speck of positive belief led to this painting: Nature at its full bloom and every element of nature co-existing in harmony.
Whenever I see this painting, I get encouraged to see things in a positive light!
And, as Tony Robins, say “Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and start being excited for what could go right” :)
Where do you derive your source of positivity? What works for you?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
