The Power of Positivity; Challenge Accepted?

What is the definition of Power and Positivity, when typed into Google?

Answer via Google: Positive thinking is an emotional and mental attitude that focuses on the good and expects results that will benefit you. It's about anticipating happiness, health and success – essentially, training yourself to adopt an abundance mindset and cultivate gratitude for your own successes and those of others.

I have always been commended on being the person that exudes optimism, in every situation and this greatly stems from the most positive person in my life; my Mum.

No matter how dire the situation, my Mum has always taught to lead with grace, and look for the positive. I have constantly applied this rule in my career to date, which consistently challenges and reminds me to put everything into perspective.

I have cultivated a few quick tips for you to consume. I am hoping by sharing my insights, this might resonate with someone in the world to either inspire or motivate in aiding to alter your perspective- it may even inspire you to integrate this into your daily routines to be the best version of yourself. 

So how do I achieve this on a daily, weekly and monthly basis? 

The secret to my success includes these mantras.

Set your morning intention.

As soon as you wake up in the AM, set yourself an intention. Whatever that may be, be sure to circle back on this intention throughout the day to ensure all your output is being poured into your daily intention.

 Adapt a positive thought process.

Always think about how you would like to be treated and impart this onto someone you either work with or liaise with closely throughout your days. Be sure to make someone else's day!

Practise Mindfulness & Gratitude.

Practise stillness or mindfulness; be it a meditation or spiritual practise, be sure to start or end your day with positive affirmations. This allows you to reflect, be grateful and remind yourself why it is important to carve out time for YOU everyday of the week.

Positivity is infectious, if everyone spent one minute of their day focussing on optimal results with a positive mindset, imagine how happy our surroundings would be.

Challenge accepted: Now it’s over to you; if you accept the challenge, please aim to adopt these practises in your mindset for the week ahead and ensure you leave time for reflection at the conclusion of the week. Allow time to assess how you approached, felt and the direct outcomes you saw come from this week; I have no doubt you will feel much better for it.
