As we saw in the last blog, the pursuit of happiness is a universal human desire. People have been seeking the secret to a happy life for centuries. Yet, happiness remains elusive to many. Some people believe that acquiring material possessions, status, or achievements can bring happiness. However, the truth is that happiness comes from within, and it is not something that can be obtained from external sources. This is where the JEEVANVIDYA (the concept of life skills) comes in, teaching us that we do not need to acquire too much or do too much to be happy. Rather, happiness is a state of mind, a matter of the soul.

The first step to finding happiness is to understand that it is within us. It is within the soul, not the body. While many people believe that God resides within the heart, the truth is that God is within us, and we are within God. Happiness comes from within, and it is up to us to unlock its power. All we have to do is change our thoughts.

Negative thoughts can hold us back from experiencing happiness. They create limitations and barriers that prevent us from achieving our full potential. However, changing our thoughts can change everything. Our thoughts shape our lives, and the power to manifest those thoughts is within us. James Allen, a philosopher, once said, "The divinity that shapes your end is in your own self. All that you achieve is the direct result of your own thoughts."

The importance of thoughts cannot be overstated. The thoughts we hold shape our lives, and our potential is only limited by the thoughts we choose to entertain. If we limit our thoughts, we limit our lives. But, if we aim high and work towards our goals, our potential will soar. Changing our thoughts is not difficult; it is a matter of observing them, holding them, speaking about them, and then shaping them.

Observing our thoughts is the first step towards cultivating a positive mindset. We must learn to be mindful of our thoughts, to identify the negative ones, and replace them with positive ones. It is essential to think before we act, speak, or even entertain a thought. Thoughtlessness can be detrimental to our success, and we must strive to be intentional in our actions.

If we want to achieve greatness and happiness, we must nurture our minds with great, good, harmonious, and excellent thoughts. We must take the first step towards a positive mindset, and then keep walking toward our destination.
