I have recently reached 5000+ connections on this platform and want to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you.

I have learned a lot about many different topics with a wide range of connections but principally been kept up to-date within the Industry that I love being Food.

I receive a number of private messages some sales but of late most by inspiring young entrepreneurs in the food tech space that is seeing a lot of innovation and some really smart ideas to improve the consumer experience as well as restaurant revenue growth.

I encourage all that contact me to pick up the phone and start a conversation as the power of a phone call way out ways a message or email in my opinion.

As my company The Ufoodi Group is on the presapis of launching our platform it is great to bounce ideas and collect learned experiences by talking with persons in a similar start up capacity.

Hi Brad! Congratulations on hitting 5,000!!! That's no small feat!! As for your statement about the old fashioned telephone call, I can't agree with you more!! Just last week I came upon a post here on LinkedIn that stated that phone calls & face to face is almost redundant, especially the "Cold Call". I immediately put in my 2 cents worth on that subject. I agree with both you and Simon that making calls and face to face are still THE best way to deal with new and longterm clients/colleagues and just about everyone on the planet. You can not convey empathy, integrity, sincerity and bullshit in an email or text, as well as one can on the phone or face to face. Good luck with your new venture!

Hi Brad. Congrats on hitting 5000+ connections. I couldn't agree more about making a call instead of sending a message. Not only can you convey tone, but you can also hear it, and respond immediately and appropriately. Thanks for sharing.
