I follow 6 concepts on a daily basis. They are my personal beliefs:
- Start with Why: Simon Sinek taught us “People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it.”?My Why is helping others achieve their dreams and I let the world know it.
- Know Your Story and How to Tell It: Storytelling is the best way to communicate.?It took me many years to know my story and how to tell it in a compelling and interesting way. Think “Hamilton!”
- Keep It Simple: Albert Einstein observed: “If you can’t explain it SIMPLY, you don’t understand it well enough.” ?You have the most impact when you keep it simple. ?
- Here’s to the Crazy Ones: Apple’s philosophy: “The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”?You can’t change the world unless you are a Crazy One.
- Be a Purple Cow: Seth Godin coined the concept to describe how to stand out from the masses.?I think differently and challenge the status quo.?This is how I am a Purple Cow.?
- Pitch to the Sharks: Non-profits pitch for donations to their cause. Salespeople pitch to potential customers. Companies pitch people to customers.?To make a winning pitch, you must know how to Pitch to the Sharks!?Think “Shark Tank.”
