3 POWERFUL PAUSE TOOLS TO HELP YOU MAKE AN IMPACT AND THRIVE!
1. And write it out Journalling can help ground you in the present moment, simply by noticing and observing small joys in your daily life can help keep you present and focused on each moment you are in.
Allowing you to see all the opportunities and awesome stuff you use to rush past and truly experience the joy in your life you had no idea was even there!
It doesn't need to be achievements or things you do for people, it can be even more simple and beautiful than that, perhaps it was an awesome cup of coffee or some beautiful wild flowers.?
Allowing yourself some scheduled time each day (even just 5 minutes in a quiet space) will enable you to reap all the rewards of this constant state of presence through the simple act of pausing…
2. And breath…?
?Incorporating breath work will keep you feeling grounded in the moment helping to attenuate any nervous system overwhelm that can lead to states of nervousness and anxiousness as well as helping with many daily physiological issues such as IBS.?
Adding breath work into your daily life doesn't have to mean taking yourself to a hippie commune, it can be done as you are walking about and even at work kicking business butt!
No one would have any idea, here is one technique to get you started…
-Take a relaxed inhalation for 4 seconds into your belly, as you breath in your belly will expand out?
-As you exhale make an O with your mouth and lightly force the breath out slowly and controlled for 6 seconds?
-Feel yourself more peaceful and relaxed and totally engaged with your body and mind right in the moment
And just 2 minutes…Each day find just 2 minutes to drop your conversation, drop your device and drop your attachment to the next task...
and simply be...
…during this time watch with detachment your mind simply wondering, observe what is going on without any thought or? narrative and accept the present moment just as it is…
