The power of partnerships driving customer success

H1 is now in the rearview mirror, and it’s given me some time to reflect on Bitmovin’s journey and the industry’s trends in the first six months of the year; there was one common thread: partnerships.?
The media and entertainment technology industry has traditionally been fragmented, with vendors specializing in certain areas. This is why the industry has made a collective effort to reduce fragmentation in the ecosystem and drive innovation by forging strategic partnerships. Bitmovin has been a part of this effort since we launched our Bitmovin Innovators Network in 2022 and focused on building closer relationships with our partner community.?
The success of our partnerships is best seen in customer showcases. In the first six months of 2024, together we publicly announced over 15 new customer references through press releases, case studies, and testimonials, just a small percentage of the new logos we won overall. One of our hero pieces of H1 was our video case study with OneFootball in partnership with Akamai. I am incredibly proud of this case study because it shows the power of our Live Encoder when it is running on Akamai Technologies . In the case of OneFootball , Our Live Encoder is helping deliver the highest levels of audio and video quality in a live environment for an app with around 200 million users. This is incredible! I must thank our live encoding team for all their work over the past 18 months to create such an amazing product.?
For our Player and Analytics, we announced Sinclair as a customer. Our Player and Analytics run on Google Cloud to deliver flawless playback on most devices, with ad support and support for React Native to ensure Sinclair Inc. can monetize every moment of its service. Additionally, for our VOD Encoder, we just announced Anghami as a customer. Our VOD Encoder runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) , empowering Anghami to leverage our Per-Title encoding technology to encode 4,000 assets for a new multi-media platform resulting from Anghami’s merger with OSN+. While these customer references use different Bitmovin solutions, they all demonstrate our solid partnerships with each cloud provider.?

Similarly, our strong partnership with 微软 is also apparent in our role in helping Azure Media Services (AMS) users migrate. Since AMS sunsetted on June 30th, we’ve welcomed over 500 AMS customers to Bitmovin Streams, and they have benefited from an easy onboarding process, pre-integration with Azure Cloud, and the ability to scale at speed.?
The company’s successes in the past year are due to our willingness to partner with other companies on projects and our commitment to building stronger relationships with our partner community as well as strong product integrations.
