The Power In Owning Your Greatness

Something Silly

“Fake it till you make it” is more challenging to follow than it sounds. It’s tough to maintain confident behavior all day at work, every day unless we hold at least partial belief that the person in the mirror is worth it.

Something Serious

Developing a strong conviction and confidence about ourselves allows us to interact with others in empowered ways.

While our friends and associates might not intend to influence us to their way of thinking in and out of the workplace, this can easily happen if we don't have a clear sense of our convictions and who we are.?

Making time to explore our thoughts, beliefs, and desires can give us a greater sense of clarity about our lives and what's important to us. We are then able to feel confident and self-assured in our interactions with others and remain committed to our beliefs.?

Here are a few area to begin to focus on:

  • Stop Comparing Yourself to Others?
  • Surround Yourself With Positive People?
  • Take Care of Your Body?
  • Be Kind To Yourself?
  • Practice Positive Self-Talk?
  • Face Your Fears?

Strengthening your convictions and inner confidence today will allow you to be proactive instead of reactive in your interactions tomorrow.

This--"Making time to explore our thoughts, beliefs, and desires can give us a greater sense of clarity about our lives and what's important to us."-- sums up the message for me, Joshua Miller. So true and excellent message there in your article.
