THE POWER OF OUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

Several years ago, I discovered the power of our subconscious mind and was so excited about it, that I quickly jumped into studying with the late Bob Proctor. He was such an amazing and knowledgeable man! I couldn't get my fill of information, so I started reading "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill and then on to so many others. After studying with Bob for a while, I was discovered by one of his Top Ten Coaches and soon started studying with him. Last year, I completed my Certification as a Manifestation Coach. In this newsletter, I will share some of what I learned on how we can heal our bodies through our subconscious mind.
Many of us know about the Law of Attraction and that what we think about we attract. So, if you tend to focus on the negative things in life, you will attract negative things into your life including bad health. Alternatively, if you are optimistic and tend to be positive, thinking of things you are grateful for, you will attract more goodness into your life. Through my studying, when I find my conscious mind wanting to take me down a dark or negative path, I try to "pivot," (a term used by Abraham Hicks) and switch to something positive. This isn't always an easy thing to do, but with some practice, it can definitely be done! In fact, I have had remarkable success by learning to pivot my thoughts, which ultimately changed my entire day!
The following is an excerpt from the book "The Secret of the Ages," by Robert Collier:
"But everyone does not know that our whole bodies seem to be nothing more or less than the outward expression of our thought. We sit in a draught, and education teaches us we should have a cold or fever: So we have a cold or fever. We eat something which we have been told is indigestible, and immediately we are assailed with pains. We see another yawn, and our impulse is to follow suit. In the same way, when we hear of sickness round about us, the fear of it visualizes it in our own minds and we, too, have it. The fear of these things seems to bring them about, the mental suggestion sent through to our subconscious minds. We have been educated in a medical age to think that most diseases are infectious or contagious. So the mere sight of a diseased person makes most of us withdraw into ourselves like a turtle within his shell. We fear we shall catch it--when one of the great dangers of disease is that very fear of it." (Collier 152)
How many people do you know with illness or disease literally seem to be attached to their poor health? It's unfortunate, but true. They can't seem to take their minds off their problems and when you visit or speak with them, that is what the conversation is centered upon. I'm sure many of us have also seen the opposite, where someone has a serious illness or disease and upon being diagnosed, makes a decision to overcome whatever ails them. Eventually, they recover, and all signs of the disease are gone.

You must already see and believe yourself to be healthy. If you are full of fear, anxiety, worry and doubt, then you will attract unfortune and bad health. Every day upon awakening and before I retire at night, I am grateful for my perfect health. Visualize yourself doing things that perhaps you are currently unable to do but would love to return to someday soon. This includes things such as any form of exercise, playing with your children, sports, knitting or whatever it may be. This isn't a one and done deal but visualize it frequently. Feel yourself actually doing it and enjoying it! Feeling is so important! Many authors, as well as my coaches recommend visualizing right before drifting off to sleep, always being thankful of what you are doing or receiving.
I know I've only briefly touched on the power of our subconscious minds, but if this is something you enjoy and would like to learn more about, please let me know in the comments.
Remember this if you're at all new to this idea. Our subconscious mind controls and maintains all our bodily functions right down to breathing. Our subconscious speaks to us through our intuition, impulses, ideas, and desire to grow or help others. If you learn how to look inwardly and be conscious of your Inner Being, you can change your life!

2 年I like your article. Now take an introduce removing the negative life experiences, traumas, as such and replace them with positive programming for Habits, Behaviors, and Belief systems and top of with relationship building and you will have a new person in 90 days. What most people do not understand is this would take years on the conscious level if the motivation did not fade away.
