The Power of One

Most people feel they have no power when confronting forces much larger than they. This is not so. Forces larger in size, number and momentum have an advantage only in their collective mass and inertia. Each of us have a singular power of our own that when focused can match and even overtake forces greater than we. That power is our Will and the exercising of its Volition.

In the structure or make up of our society there are leaders and there are followers. Leaders focus their will to lead while followers accept the reality of being lead by individuals who they trust to lead them in the proper direction. They rely on their leaders to take them forward advancing all to what they perceive as the common good.

One must ask them self and decide at what level they desire to live out their lifetime, as a follower or a leader. A leader has many levels of influence, some lead a friendship, a marriage, a family, some a company, some a nation and still some greatly influence the world on a grand scale.

Our will has the most powerful influence when it serves the Greatest of all wills, God’s Will. When mankind seeks and accepts God’s Will, all is harmonious and advances in illumination of knowledge, wisdom and understanding. This brings to mind the verse in the Lords Prayer… “Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven”. This verse states the answer to all problems and obstacles facing Mankind. God’s Will is the driver of God’s favor and the momentum of the greater good for all of creation.

We as one individual have the power to avail ourselves of the greatness God placed in each of us, our uniqueness, our talents. This is the message of God’s Will! When each of us share our talents which may seem little to some of us, that sharing adds to the momentum of the common good, advancing our world to more lofty a place. That is power, the power of one!
