The Power of Now
“Right Now” is a gift - that’s why we call it the present, Simon, my youngest son, stated as we sat by the poolside at the Marriott in San José, Costa Rica. And how right he is, it is now in our decision-making moments that our destiny is formed. So, to be able to live our life to the fullest we need to be present and think about our decisions as we take them.
One today is worth two tomorrows; what I am to be, I am now becoming
-Benjamin Franklin-
You need to be awake to fulfill your dreams. Make sure you live most of your time in this very moment. Not in the past and not in the future. When you look around you can see who does, and who does not, live right now. Stay with the former as much as you can and you will have a chance to make your dreams come true.
Wherever you are - be there.

There is a Buddhist parable about a monk who kept a teacup by his bed. Every night before he went to sleep he turned it upside down. Each morning he righted it. When a puzzled novice inquired, the monk explained that he was symbolically emptying the cup of life each night to signify his acquiescence in his own mortality. The ritual reminded him that he had done the things he needed to do that day and so was ready should death come for him. Each morning, then, he turned the cup up to accept the gift of a new day.
A man with one watch knows what time it is …a man with two watches is never sure
-Murphy's Law-
Take life one day at a time, acknowledging the wonderful gift of life with each dawn but be prepared to relinquish it at the end of each day. There is meaning in paying attention to the day in which we live.
One day at a time, this is enough
Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone
And do not be troubled about the future,
Live in the present and make it so beautiful
that it will be worth remembering
