THE POWER OF NOW

How can we successfully use our LinkedIn community to help defeat the negative effects of Covid19?

Dear community of professionals, as you already know, the least respectful company in the world has caused an absolute drop in our sales. It does not hide its strategy which is based on the speed of opening new markets, from the most local to the most global, monopolizing all sectors of activity.

Each of us is trying to minimize its effects and trying to gain ground, but unfortunately, for now, we are not obtaining the desired results.

Our mistake? to continue acting as a community and not as a unit, a single company. Only then we will be able to face the problem from another perspective, most probably the one that we would apply to our own businesses in other circumstances.

Our messages as a community, charged with excellent energies, are covering too great an angle, reducing its impact. It is the moment to focus our energies on very clear and forceful messages oriented to the needs of each moment.

Experts from ALL OVER THE WORLD tell us that the only way to gain ground for this giant is by Staying at Home and / or maintain the recommended basic precautions, and that unfortunately for no less than a year will we be able to completely defeat it.

So, what do you think, if we listen to them instead of hearing them, and initially focus on three objectives? (Let's choose our objective according to the current needs in your area)

  1. Raise awareness. Especially of the elderly and those who suffer from an illness that has weakened their defences, they are the ones who are most at risk of dying, but are also the ones who can collapse the health system and make the rest more vulnerable.
  2. Help health professionals by offering, if we can, our services or products.
  3. Help people who feel lonely

Complex challenges for a community of more than 500 million users, but simple challenges for a unit that multiplies by 500 million.

Where can we start?

Let's seed LinkedIn with messages geared towards these first three goals to create awareness on the one hand and help where it's really needed on the other.

Advertisers; keep occupying your spaces with awareness messages, whether on radio, television, magazines, outdoor advertisements ... Be a high-speed vehicle to spread specific needs in specific areas.

Artists; humourists, comedians, singers, painters, actors ... Now is the time to awaken all your creativity focused on the first objective, keep raising awareness in society, your message reaches us profoundly.

Athletes; you are an example and an idol to many young people, who might not quite fully understand the situation we are in. Keep helping them to understand it.

Department stores, leisure centers, etc. Now that you are closed, please keep using your shop windows, your marketing departments, to display messages to raise awareness.

Politicians; be brave, honest and realistic. This is the time to act with shared responsibility.

Large Corporations, IT Companies, Financial Institutions, Banks, Forbes List, etc., keep helping, from humility, to governments in their actions.

Lots of encouragement for all those who are still in full action, you know that you have our total gratitude and admiration of the society.
