EPSA and Americans for a Clean Energy Grid Pinpoint Bipartisan Infrastructure Solutions?

EPSA President and CEO Todd Snitchler and Executive Director of Americans for a Clean Energy Grid Christina Hayes jointly published an op ed laying out concrete ways energy policy can support a more cost-effective, cleaner, and more reliable power grid. Putting a spotlight on permitting reform and project delays, Snitchler and Hayes urge policymakers to avoid taking an overly partisan approach and instead realize the common goal of keeping the lights on and costs down while supporting lower-carbon solutions.

“The goal of energy policy must be a reliable, clean and cost-effective power system that serves all Americans, from generation to transmission to distribution. Achieving that outcome will require several things: more generation —?and more pipelines —?to power the growing economy, and more wires to deliver power from where it is generated to load centers.”?
