POWER

After the presidential address, I remember this is the first time my heart felt really heavy (Hii kitu inafaa kuisha sasa.)

In my mind I was wondering what happens to our economy, what happens to the progress we had started to make, how are people gonna survive without relief measures? Who advices the government on making policies?

Then amidst this came the news that the refugee camps will have to be closed down and I didn't know what to feel, I really understand the security measures that the country needs to take but I couldn't help wonder what happens to the over 500,000 refugees there? What happens to the kid refugees in form four now? Where do they go amidst this pandemic?

On top of this I just remembered there are CEOs who have startups in such a time, who might be paying more to pursue their dreams which are crushed everytime by the pandemic.

It took me to a very low point emotionally which I haven't been in such a long time. Amidst all this, it really charged up my desire to see God's power; I am tired of people making a mockery of my belief, some of the people who came before me have messed up and most of us are walking powerless in a faith that professes power due to this it has been a tag placed upon all of us that we are clowns, hypocrites you name it.

I am really praying for God to show His Almightiness in this generation, I really crave to walk in that power that Peter and Paul walked in that their shadow was enough to heal, the kind of power that was in Elisha's bones long after his death - to bring back to life a dead person.

With the kind of pain I have seen in people's eyes I am sure this power is the one that will bring the change/healing/relief we so desire.

Some oppression just needs this Power and they will be silenced for eternity.

One thing I desire to see manifest, is this part that says

The Kingdom of God is not a matter of Talk but of Power.

POWERRRR, that we won't be powerless Christians walking around, we shall speak and our words established instantly.

I know some might say that we should just seek His presence, but I believe since He is my dad and all power He has given to us to reign with Him on earth, I should not be afraid to go for more if He is more than willing to give it to me.

My God I have heard of your fame and Power; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known.

Manifest your power through us in such a manner that it will silence every argument.
