The Power of Letting Go

We’ve all been there - something happens (or doesn’t happen) and we keep thinking and talking about it, and the negative momentum builds up and up and up, making us feel terrible. You know what I’m talking about?
If you answered with yes and you have something that you’re going through, or you’re upset with, there is a very, very simple yet powerful question you can ask yourself:?
‘Can I change anything about this situation right now, in this very moment, yes or no?’
I recently had a situation where I got triggered. I immediately asked myself this question and realized there was nothing I could do in that moment. If I had focused on the situation itself it would have made me go into a negative downward spiral and I did not want that.
I had a fantastic day until this point, working with incredible people and I didn’t want this to be how I felt at the end of my day.
So instead I turned it into a lesson for me to figure out why this triggered me so much, went outside for a walk and accepted the situation and focused on letting go of the negative feelings. 20 minutes later I was made aware that it was a misunderstanding and the situation had been resolved.?
Now imagine this happens with something that is very meaningful to you. The size that it would take on if you go down that rabbit hole.?
So let things, situations and people go that do not serve you, let things go that you cannot change, or at least cannot change at this moment and free yourself up for new things, more positive things.
There is a universal law: Action - Reaction. Everything you send out comes back to you. So the more you focus on the negative situation, the more of the same energy comes back to you, usually resulting in similar situations or the situation you’re in getting worse. So in order to attract positive energy towards you, you have to send out positive energy yourself - that starts with your thoughts.? Like Buddha said ‘What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.’
