The Power of Intercultural Partnership to Deliver Intended Sustainable Impacts & Catalyst for Change driven by Cooperative Capacity Sharing Model

The Power of Intercultural Collaboration, (Engage Diversity - Built Belonging)

Intercultural Partnership is identical to global collaboration, including their incredible expertise in local community contexts and cultures under their leadership, especially in this case where all members work to address social problems within their organizations, enterprises, or communities. In addition, also combine expertise, resources, opportunities, and insider-outsider knowledge to achieve mutual goals. Creating a road map that provides the essential Intercultural Collaboration to increase the impact with less effort is one of the most priorities that we want to develop carefully from the very early step.

Although there is not yet any consensus on the definition of “partnership” especially for organizations, enterprises, or communities which working to address social problems, there are some frameworks from certain sources that can be used to (1) Define indicators of organizational performance and capacity based on any stakeholder measure; (2) Identifying a partner’s capacity to cooperate and partner, including the capacity to share power, communicate, and accurately assess and respond to deal with threats and opportunities; (3) Determine a partnership’s performance based on any stakeholder measure.

To mitigate Unbalanced Capacity from each partner (overcapacity or insufficient capacity) thus when choosing the Capacity Sharing method to form a "partnership" then this can only be realized when (1) goals are shared; (2) structures are in place; responsibility, (3) resources and accountability are shared; (4) communication is two-way, open, and honest; and (5) benefits and respect are mutual, but some organizations can also be in a new or problematic partnership that does not meet these standards of cooperation, this because there exists the impacts which are restricted by the existence of capacity constraints due to funding, technology, innovation, policies, etc..

How two parties and more might work together, to specific actions of an interdependent nature that assign responsibilities and accountabilities to two or more parties which possible forms partnerships can take?

Under FGCL 2022 program in residency at Coady Institute, StFX University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, I learned how to build a culture to achieve mutual goals to support the voice, leadership, and dignity of the people most impacted by the social problem, and how to help system influencers listen in new ways to people with lived experience and act on what they hear for developing "Systemic Change Mindsets". Depending on what category of "Systemic Change Mindsets" we want to identify and dig into more in-depth. This category is usually based on the priority of what kind of societal challenges in silos want to be solved.

Global Initiative Mentorship of FGCL 2022 - has been scheduled via online meeting as part of learning in practice - across international time zones, and with all the member participants which consist of five (5) different continents (Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe) from the total of eighteen (18) different countries which divided with twelve (12) different countries from (Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Ghana, Mozambique, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Canada, Brazil, Switzerland, Kosovo) + six (6) different countries other from (Tibet, Kurdistan-Iraq, Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, Ukraine). According to this, then there exist Performance values currency and Relationships currency amongst this circle of champion leaders group.

Referring to some sources of the terminology of Performance currency is more about the currency that is generated by delivering that which was asked to us, and a little bit extra. Every time that we perform above people's expectations, we can generate our performance currency properly. However, Relationship currency is more about the investment that we make in the people in our environment. After we get to a certain level of any Organization or Group Community, our performance is assumed to be at a certain level, making our performance currency the same as others. At this point, our relationship currency is possibly becoming most valuable.

To enhance and strengthen both Performance Currency and Relationship Currency from these Intercultural members thus Collaboration to Deliver Intended Sustainable Impacts & Catalyst for Change driven by Cooperative Capacity Sharing is becoming a good model that is possible to be used even together with our partners in the different time zone condition. These tools and methods are so very useful to help partners and partnerships increase power sharing, cooperation, and mapping a strategic goal so that global and local agents at all levels can take charge of development agreements based on each capacity-sharing commitment.

To measure a capacity sharing commitment towards Intercultural Collaboration thus defining variable indicators from each member participant can be started by analyzing the (12) pillars of prejudice and the topics and the themes which mostly relate to religion, ideology, health, addiction, victim, social status, disabilities, gender/sexuality, occupation, lifestyle, time commitment, and family relation. These all-variable indicators can be used as a guideline for the next qualitative and quantitative approaches in order to:

Regarding providing and delivering?Intended Sustainable Impacts & Catalysts for Change,?then?this can be inspired by building a champion leaders group or a group of champions who can be increasing the sense of connection to global and local at all levels from Intercultural collaboration. These aims can bring solid and massive energy within people in each their circle, and this can enhance the impact of the next efforts including people engagement to address and solve a complex social problem towards a lasting systemic change.

In a short-term action like for some particular programs related to personal, community and systems change then may provide building blocks from the belonging matters framework.?These building blocks?will relate to?the Organization's mission and social value strategy?which include actionable tactics (prevention, intervention, restorative, promotion) or we can be called?strategic goals?which cover?-?innovation, quality, service, speed, cost, sustainability, and how it is core to an organization's acceptable success to solve complex social problems and any number of more social problems towards a lasting systemic change. In detail about an understanding of "Systemic Change Mindsets" please welcome to read more about it in my 4th article on:

"The Art of Experimental Series: Unconscious Bias & Inclusive Language Intervening Systemic Change Mindsets of Social Intrapreneurs, GALs, ABCD Experts"

Relationships is matter, which is why Belonging Matters.

This doesn't happen naturally or easily in today's busy, distracted world. Having a framework and toolkit for guidance and support can make our intercultural long-lasting formed differently. Wait and see how it will be strengthening and impacting the next level.
