Reflecting on the genesis of my company, TalkDEI, back in 2021, I'm reminded of the incredible value that stems from fostering conversations before the advent of impactful innovations.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Martin Luther King Jr., whose influence emanated from genuine conversations and a credible path, I realized the power of word-of-mouth and dialogue. It was through these conversations that ideas grew, culminating in the establishment of the civil rights movement—a testament to the deep impact of dialogue.
My journey began as an 8-year-old, captivated by Bill Gates' vision for High Tech High in Southern California (Inspired by an interview Bill Gates did with Oprah Winfrey). I dreamed of hands-on learning, designing robots, and cultivating business ideas—a fervor that has never waned. The concept of talking, sharing thoughts, and engaging in discussions became central to my approach to innovation.
Choosing the name TalkDEI was deliberate—a reflection of the importance of conversation in diversity, equity, and inclusion. However, it wasn't without its challenges, as I encountered skepticism about whether DEI efforts were mere talk without substantive action. Nonetheless, I remained steadfast in my intention, believing that impactful change begins with conversations that lead to tangible results.
As I embarked on this journey, I recognized the potency of branding as a vehicle for intentional expression. Every aspect of TalkDEI's brand identity, from symbolism to colors, was meticulously crafted to resonate with its essence. Immersing myself in the world of branding archetypes, I adopted the magician archetype—an embodiment of my own creative flair and the aspirations of my platform.

The pivotal moment arrived when it was time to select TalkDEI's logo. Opting for a symbol that stimulates thought and exudes power, I settled on the Metatron cube. This enigmatic emblem encapsulates the depth of TalkDEI's mission—fostering multi-faceted growth, embracing complexity, and sparking curiosity.
