The Power of Intention x Action

I love reading books about business, well not business, business people.. 

I also love reading books about life, the universe and the law of attraction..

These two didn't seem to mix too much until recently. I can highly recommend The Leap, Get Rich, Lucky Bitch and Thrive (also in my kindle are the new 50 shades book and a book titled 'The life changing magic of tidying' that I haven't read once, and you can tell) Now there seems to be a real movement away from the old days of testosterone fuelled board room power action and endless referral based networking into a much softer, more enjoyable way of connecting with others and supporting each other on the journey. Or maybe it's just me. 

I know I keep banging on about Simon Calderbank's Like Minded Souls theory - that you surround yourself with people with the same values in all areas of your life - some you marry, some you party with, some you do business with, and I couldn't agree more. 

I feel that it is the intention to live and do business in a way that feels right to you and your energy that attracts like minded souls into your life. Bear with me, I'm not going off the planet here - lets stick to business. 

You must have had that experience where you just happen to bump into an old contact who just happens to have been talking about you other day and has been meaning to call you about an opportunity. And it is exactly aligned with your intended way to grow your business. That. 

Or you write down your mission or goals onto a piece of paper, forget about it and then find it a year later and they are all in hand. 

I wrote this when I was first starting out. I have achieved all 5 in 12 months.. Of course if it was easy as writing down your goals and forgetting about it then we would all be doing the 'write yourself a cheque for a million and date it a year from now and stick it on your ceiling' that was so big in The Secret. 

Action is essential. The intention is the kindling and action is the flame. You need both. 

Write down your goals and take action every day to make them happen.
