The Power of Infinite Iterations
My six-year-old son is a LEGO master in the making. We love dumping bins of blocks and bricks on the floor in a colorful cascade of possibilities. That usually attracts his younger brothers. Spoiler alert: His baby brother does a spot-on impression of Godzilla to our LEGO cities.
Tragedy struck our LEGO mini-mall the other night. Baby Godzilla gave the People's Elbow to our 'super-cool-awesome' restaurant. Its current status? Smashed to smithereens.
I turned to his brother, our resident 'Brick-itect', fully expecting a meltdown. His answer surprised me:
"It's okay, Dad. I'll just make it again another way. Or build a different, way better one."
(Lightbulb moment for Dad)
Coaches, consultants, and advisors are diehard creators; at least, I believe so. We love making courses, training programs, workshops, Signature Talk content, all the social media posts and videos, and of course, shiny, tantalizing client-specific content.
We stack modules and templates like LEGO bricks -- but then, the market shifts. Industries are whiplashed with new regulations, innovators, or obstacles. New tech ignites massive disruption (hello, AI!).
What was once 'cool' and 'white-hot popular' is now blasé.
That plants us squarely at a creative crossroads: Do we keep moving forward with this now-maybe-irrelevant thing or do we crumple our idea or project and shout "Kobe!" as we toss it in the digital trash can?
How about choosing Door #3?
If nobody's ever told you this before, you hold the power of infinite iterations. Inside your brain is a flashing "Do Over" button next to every idea.

Don't like how your course turned out? Give it a makeover.
Don't love how your latest talk content landed with your audience? Rebuild the finish.
Is your course, workshop, offer, or even business not as relevant or potent as needed? To quote my son, "Make it again another way. Or build a different, way better one."
I love the shape of a helix (the DNA-looking spiral shape in the picture up top). It makes me think of a ladder that keeps building on itself.
Every rung isn't just going higher; it's stacking strength on top of what already exists.
That's the power of infinite iterations. You can always rebuild, replace, or reimagine how to package and deliver your expertise to your target Market.
