The Power of Hypnotherapy in My Practice

Ericksonian Hypnotherapy was the first certification I pursued. I completed an extensive program to learn how to use hypnotherapy to help clients heal. I was very happy to gain this valuable tool, and I still appreciate having it.

However, I soon realized that this certification alone was not enough for me, so I returned to school for further education. Over time, I learned how to use hypnotherapy more effectively for clients. My approach involves integrating hypnotherapy sessions that are specifically tailored to each client, using their own words and focusing on what is useful for them based on their values. A very specific and tailored approach can work wonderfully.

The main purpose of hypnotherapy is to treat mental health issues and achieve personal growth. It uses the state of hypnosis to help people work on issues like anxiety, pain management, and behavior change. As you know, I am an evidence-based therapist, meaning I prioritize models that have proven effectiveness. In a time when we are inundated with hundreds of different practices, I rely on evidence to guide my approach.. BUT, research shows that hypnotherapy effectively reduces anxiety. Studies have found that it significantly lowers anxiety symptoms for many people.

Hypnotherapy’s ability to induce deep relaxation helps counteract the physical symptoms of anxiety, such as a racing heart, tense muscles, and rapid breathing. Clients are usually very happy to see how they can shift their state.

?? ?????????????????? ?????? ?????????? ??????????: Hypnotherapy helps clients get more in touch with their inner world by taking them on a journey of possibilities. This introspective experience allows individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings more deeply, gaining valuable insights into their anxieties and discovering new ways to cope.

?? ?????????????? ?????????????? ????????????????: Another crucial aspect of my approach is helping clients overcome their defenses. These natural walls, built from past hurts and experiences, often prevent individuals from fully addressing their anxiety. Hypnotherapy gently guides clients past these defenses, allowing for healing and growth. This process aligns with the essence of AEDP(Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) —moving through defenses to reach core emotional experiences.

?? ?????? ??????????????????????????: I use positive suggestions to boost clients' sense of strength and resilience, reinforcing their ability to handle stressful situations with confidence and calm. Hypnotherapy can remind clients of their strengths and past achievements, helping to rebuild their self-esteem and confidence.

?? ???????????? ??????????????. I also use guided imagery to help clients visualize positive outcomes and peaceful scenarios. This technique engages the imagination to create calming and empowering mental images, which can significantly reduce anxiety and promote a sense of well-being.

This technique, known as systematic desensitization, involves gradually exposing clients to their anxiety triggers in a controlled and relaxed state, which helps reduce their fear response over time.

This new perspective can be profoundly transformative, providing clients with a powerful tool to manage anxiety and improve their overall well-being.
