As the summer holiday season starts in the northern hemisphere and families and friends are reunited, I am reminded of the power of human connections and how important they have been to me.
What is the basis of the best human connections? Trust, support, encouragement, respect...? And in the very best examples, love? Whatever the answer, it is definitely not just one-sided!
And then that made me think, aren’t those also key attributes of working with the marketing agency that will make the best impact for you?
I used to be on the client side. Then, as it is now, it was key to work with an agency that I had a human connection with. And that all came down to individuals in the agency and their expertise. My relationship with them was not transactional, it was transformational. Not just for me, but also the companies I worked for. Inevitably, it felt uncomfortable at times, because I had to trust their expertise and they had to trust mine.?They took our marketing into completely unfamiliar territories…but that’s why we needed them.
Many of my professional connections in Emberson Group were made in my early career, and I’m delighted to say that we continue to work together.?

2 个月Stepping out of your comfort zone may be necessary at times, but you have to trust in your agency's expertise. We are specialists in our field, and that's why you've chosen us. It's natural to want to revert to familiar methods, but those may not have yielded the desired results.
