Many years ago on a flight to the West Coast of the United States, the pilot came on the audio system and said "If you look out the window you will see Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens and Mt Hood. Each of these are active volcanoes. There is a lot of power down there." At the time, I was struggling to find my way. I had taken a job for all the wrong reasons and while I was having some success I wasn't happy. The words of the pilot echoed through my mind for a few minutes and then I realized that not only was there power down there but there was also power internally within myself!

While previously I had been reluctant to express my opinion or ask for the things I wanted, the pilot's words gave me permission to harness the power within. It was an "Aha" moment for me. As I reflect on this story, I am reminded of how lost I felt, how I thought that this was my lot in life. The truth is Positive change can happen in an instant! What are you waiting for? There is Power in Here!
