  • Healthcare Costs: Overworking can lead to health issues that result in increased healthcare costs and medical bills.
  • Risk of Burnout: The risk of burnout is high when working long hours consistently, which can have long-lasting physical and emotional consequences.
  • Sustainability: Maintaining a 70+ hour workweek over the long term can be unsustainable and may not align with personal and family goals and priorities.

A 70+ hour workweek has its advantages, such as career growth and economic impact. However, it can also bring health problems and disrupt work-life balance. Striking the right balance between hard work and self-care is key to achieving both personal success and a fulfilling life.

Well I think working 70 hours is not an issue here, the issue is working for a single corporate for its profit, instead work in a ngo in free time which helps another sector. We aren't machines to work we are humans we need to divide our day and work accordingly. I believe for national progress an individual need to have a vision of progress not working 70 hours a week. It's just my opinion. Great article Ajit & all the very best keep going.
