Having gratitude helps lower your immune system.
Gratitude releases both dopamine and serotonin which makes us feel good from the inside and gives us hope.
It's a reminder of what you have of value in your life that we tend to take for granted. Gratitude wakes you up to what's possible and gives you hope to move forward. It helps to retrain our brain to see the good even in a bad situation which helps build resilience.
