THE POWER OF FACEBOOK.
As a marketer, I know the power of Facebook. I've built a career out of knowing everything there is to know in the digital/social space. One of my primary tools in my arsenal, my knowledge of Facebook. Organic AND paid. Both have their benefits, and both should be used. If you're simply only running paid content, you're missing the point of Facebook in the first place. If you're not running paid content, you're missing out on the goldmine that is Facebook ads.
THE POWER OF VIDEO.
If you are not leveraging video on Facebook, you really need to start to. The Facebook algorithm is extremely kind to videos of all kind. Live videos go crazy (we all remember the Chewbacca mask lady)
KNOW WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE LIKES.
If your audience loves to be motivated, to be entertained, to feel something emotional, whatever it may be, cater to them. Remember, not everything has to be a sales pitch. Keep yourself in their mind, and when it comes to the right time to strike, you'll be ready and waiting.
DON'T JUST POST YOUR OWN CONTENT.
Facebook's algorithm hates people who blow their own trumpet all day long, the same as we do as people in general. Nobody likes to hear shameless self promotion all day long. Avoid it. It may seem counter intuitive, but just trust me, it pays dividends. Share content from other pages with content your audience may find interesting.
STAY RELEVANT.
If your audience likes a certain thing, don't post something completely out of their comfort zone, disgruntled people are a pain in the ass to deal with at the best of times. It's not worth the hassle, nor the lack of decent engagement on the posts.
ORGANIC IS NOT DEAD.
These stats posted from my page are all organic. I didn't even really post too much. A normal week of videos will usually give me around 8-20m video views, and just think of how much pixel data that is! Haha.
However many people you have following you, don't give up. Keep posting, stay relevant and always keep your eye on the end goal. It's closer than you think.

- Over 5 million business use Facebook for advertising, and there's a very good reason for this. They are insanely powerful!
- The average click-through rate (CTR) for Facebook ads is 0.90%
- The average conversion rate for Facebook ads is 9.21%
I could continue reeling off stats to you all day long, but there's honestly no need.
This article was purely written to remind you that as a business owner, if you're ignoring Facebook because, as so many people I deal with say, "my customers aren't on Facebook", YOU ARE BAT-SHIT CRAZY.
If you don't know how to handle all of the social media and advertising tasks, do not run them on your own. Hire somebody who knows their shit. Otherwise you may as well get your time, and your hard earned money, and throw it into the toilet. Seriously. Now, saying this is NOT a way to get you to hire me personally, I just don't want to see you making the mistakes that so many people do. Especially after I just told you that it's a great idea!
