A couple of days ago I asked the question "Are power dressing and its associated masculinity becoming more and more in contrast with the zeitgeist of our current times/society?" in LinkedIn and one of the comments was "ask to ChatGPT", so I did and the answer once again surprised me, a rational, inclusive and well-structured answer:
"Power dressing, which is the practice of wearing professional attire that is meant to convey authority and confidence, has traditionally been associated with masculinity. However, the zeitgeist of our current times/society is one that values inclusivity, diversity, and authenticity, which may be at odds with the rigid gender norms that have historically been associated with power dressing.
In recent years, there has been a growing movement towards more gender-neutral and comfortable work attire, such as athleisure and casual wear. This shift can be seen as a response to the changing nature of work and the desire for greater freedom and flexibility in one's dress.

Moreover, many companies and organizations are recognizing the importance of creating a more inclusive and diverse workplace culture. This includes creating policies that are supportive of different gender expressions, which may include more flexible dress codes that allow employees to express themselves more freely.
Overall, it is possible that power dressing and its associated masculinity may be becoming less relevant in our current times/society. However, it is important to note that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to workplace dress, and what is appropriate or effective may vary depending on the industry, company culture, and individual preferences."
What is going to happen in 5 years time? Or in 20? Mind blowing!
