I've been working in a very data driven company for 8 years now, a key aspect that you need to adopt is ab testing imo, once you have this it builds the next level which is the experimentation culture, which leads to less risk aversion and more innovation. I've been in meetings with our CEO where he told a PO "I'll bet you a cup of coffee that doesn't work", and he took that bet, this for me really hit home the experimentation culture of taking bets (risks) with anything, also the important lesson he was trying to teach the PO, his opinion is only worth a cup of coffee without data to back it up ??
