Consistent behavior online is the best strategy for marketing, sales, or personal brand building.?
First you need to learn the mechanics then you will be implementing a strategy and system for showing up with regularity.
Here are the three behaviors you need to know to follow our weekly checklist and harness the power of consistent online behavior:??
- How to treat new connections.
- The importance of following ten #hashtags.
You can do a bunch of work to attract new prospects to connect with you, but your efforts will be in vain if you don't understand how to treat new connections.?
FACT: Once you connect with someone on LinkedIn, your content is guaranteed to appear in their feed and vice versa for the next seven days.?
There is a high chance that if you fail to engage with your new connection within those first seven days, Linkedin will filter your future content out of their feed. Now that poignant customer you connected with only a week ago will not see any of your activity.
Practicing consistent online behaviors ensures you will never miss this window, or the chance to organically influence new connections.?
Now let's discuss the importance of #hashtags.
Hashtags are how you follow topics you are passionate about and engage with those who have similar interests.
Speaking intelligently with consistency about a topic demonstrates your authority on the subject. If you want to be known as an expert or thought leader, you need to keep showing up in this space.?
For example:
If you consistently post about emotional intelligence, follow the hashtag #EmotionalIntelligence and start participating in the conversation on an online platform. That particular hashtag has 2,964,152 followers, which means your voice will reach a much broader network than any post of your own.?
I recommend following ten hashtags, with between 5k-20k followers, relevant to your content, company, position, and proposition.
Three times a week, search through those hashtag feeds to find second and third-degree connections with posts that you can comment on to demonstrate your expertise to a large audience and expand your thought leadership.

Consistently performing these actions creates a self-perpetuating funnel. So, if you follow this checklist every week, you'll have even more connection requests to respond to the following week.?

3 年? Richard Bliss you once told me that posts should have 3-5 hashtags. Why do you think LinkedIn came up without this number? I always thought the more the merrier, but that clearly is not the case!!
