The Power of Connection and Resilience: Lessons from Molly Fletcher at the UKG SKO Summit 2025

Growth happens when we lean into discomfort and take bold steps, even when we’re unsure of the outcome. This was the message that really stuck with me from the 2025 UKG SKO Summit. There was an undeniable energy throughout the Summit—a sense that we weren’t just there to tackle challenges, but to embrace them and use them as stepping stones toward progress.

Choosing Growth, Even When It’s Hard

It’s easy to thrive when things are smooth, but real growth happens when you face challenges head-on. We all know the market is shifting—talent shortages, new work models, and the constant need to adapt.

But instead of letting those things hold us back, we’re choosing to turn them into opportunities.

The Road Ahead: Turning Challenges into Opportunities

Reflecting on Molly Fletcher’s powerful session at SKO, here are a few ways I’m planning to apply her lessons as we work with our #partners in 2025:

  1. Lean Into Challenges: We’re not letting uncertainty slow us down. Instead, we’re seeing it as an opportunity for growth. This means pushing bold ideas, making decisive moves, and leveraging our resources to adapt quickly and stay ahead.
  2. Build Meaningful Connections: Success comes from real, genuine connections. Teamwork and trust are the foundation of everything we do. Our focus is on deepening relationships—listening, understanding, and fostering true collaboration that drives mutual success.
  3. Show Up with Passion: Passion drives resilience. It’s what keeps us going when things get tough. By staying fully engaged and bringing energy to everything we do, we inspire ourselves and those around us to keep striving for more.

Staying Resilient, No Matter What

Resilience isn’t just bouncing back when things get tough. It’s about staying in the game, even when it’s hard. That’s the attitude I felt at the Partner Summit—a commitment to not just get through the tough times, but to grow from them.

That’s exactly what we’re doing in 2025.

With partners like iCIMS , Talroo , and Greenhouse Software , we’re making sure businesses can get ahead in hiring and finding the right people faster. It’s about being ready for what’s coming, not just reacting to what’s already happened. With Phenom , Paradox , and Employ , we’re focused on helping companies create better experiences, making hiring and retention easier, and more human.

Relationships That Matter

One of the biggest takeaways for me was the power of relationships. Showing up for the people around you—listening, understanding, and figuring out how to make each other better—that’s what truly matters. Molly Fletcher reminded us that at the end of the day, it’s about how you connect and what you build together.

Our work with RiseKit is a great example of this. We’re helping companies reach underrepresented talent and give everyone a fair shot. It’s the right thing to do, and it makes companies stronger. Partners like eQuest , ClearCompany , and Emissary.ai are also helping us get candidates and teams connected and engaged, no matter where they are.

I’m ready for 2025, and I know our team and partners are too. It’s not going to be easy, but we’ve got the right people, the right tools, and the right mindset to take it on. Thankful for our amazing partners by our side that help extend out UKG 's dynamic people-first solutions, I know we’re ready to face whatever comes our way.

This is the year we look back and say, we didn’t just make it through—we made it better, together.
