The power of competition-Benefit to customer by healthy competition

Recently during my flight booking between Indore to Bangalore, I observed a strange thing. It was neither observed in last year nor in last decade while today things got changed. Due to only dominant player in route, one airline was charging high prices and these prices were going quite high one or two day before to travel day. Now today after entry announcement of another player Air India Express in this route and opening of ticket booking window from 01st Sep, all prices are significantly reduced which was never in last decade.?

It’s a big sigh of relief for passengers who are fed up due to monopoly, high airfares, cant afford high airfares and need to travel in emergency/don’t have time to waste during train travel also to those who wish to travel in flight but cant fulfill their dream because of high fares. Hoping for entry of few more players in this route to bring down these fares close to 3-3.5k as Indore is emerging city of India, well connected with 2 Jyotirlings and having great prospectus in terms of IT, manufacturing, tourism. Bangalore is already a well-established IT hub of India and many IT professional & tourists are travel towards Indore everyday and there are scope for every player in this route.?

Thank you Air India Express for starting your operations to IDR-BLR route, hoping to get best services and experience

?** Still current air fare of Indore to Bangalore is close to train ticket price of Rajdhani 2AC between Bhopal to Bangalore, expecting to reduce air fare to match price of 3AC of same train.?
