The Power of Community: Celebrating Feminine Energy in Business Through WESOS
Women Entrepreneurs Secrets of Success (WESOS)
How would your life and business change if you surrounded yourself with a group of women that refuse to let you fail?
When I started WESOS Network, I dreamed of creating a space where women could network with ease, joy, and authenticity—a place where we could grow our businesses while feeling supported and empowered. Networking is essential for any entrepreneur, but why not make it something everyone can feel comfortable doing? Little did I know, so many women entrepreneurs were searching for the same thing. Together, we’ve built more than a network; we’ve built a movement.
There is something truly electric about the feminine energy in business. It’s not about discounting the transactional nature of masculine energy, which has its place, but about celebrating the relational, empathetic, and nurturing energy that women bring to the table.
Think about it: women have only fully entered the business world within living memory. Did you know that until the early 1960s, a woman couldn’t secure a business or home loan without the signature of a man—any man? We’ve come so far since then, but there’s still work to do. It’s time to fully embrace and celebrate the divine feminine energy that has too often been overlooked.
Empathy and emotions aren’t weaknesses; they are strengths. Feelings and emotions in the workplace, when harnessed, can illuminate solutions to problems that might remain unsolved in a purely analytical framework. Vulnerability, in particular, is a powerful force for connection and growth.
As Brené Brown so beautifully states: "Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage."
In my years with WESOS, I’ve witnessed countless women find strength and success through vulnerability. Vulnerability isn’t about sharing everything or being exposed—it’s about being open to sharing emotions and experiences that connect us as humans.
Authenticity and vulnerability often go hand in hand. Authenticity is about being true to who you are, while vulnerability is about sharing your truth with courage. When we combine these two, we become what I like to call authentically vulnerable. This is where the magic happens. This is where connections deepen, trust builds, and success flourishes.
At WESOS, I’ve watched women share their fears and challenges and be met with encouragement, not judgment. I’ve seen women show their true selves and attract others who share their vision and values. It’s proof that when we show up authentically and vulnerably, we create a ripple effect of growth—not just in our businesses but in our lives.
So, I ask you: How can you show your vulnerability today? ?Maybe it’s sharing a challenge with a trusted colleague. Maybe it’s asking for help or admitting you don’t have all the answers. Maybe it’s letting go of perfection and simply being you.
Whatever it looks like, remember this: in the right community, vulnerability is not only safe; it’s celebrated. And when we embrace our true selves, we unlock the courage, creativity, and connections that lead to a happy, successful life and business.
To all the amazing women I’ve met through WESOS, thank you for inspiring me with your stories of courage, strength, and vulnerability. Together, we are rewriting the rules of business and celebrating the power of feminine energy in ways that are long overdue.
Let’s keep growing, supporting, and thriving—together. ??
