For instance, an accountant leader might centre the conversation around numbers, but this doesn't resonate with everyone, especially in diverse teams.

Great leaders adapt their communication style. It isn't just about voicing thoughts but ensuring the message resonates with everyone. This requires recognising the diverse backgrounds and strengths within the team and tailoring the communication to be all-encompassing.
