The Power of Collective Thought ~ Mastermind

When the first two human beings came together, the phenomenon of mastermind was born. It happens any day we communicate with another and focus on a common intent. It’s an everyday phenomenon that yields results that are often referred to as coincidence or synchronicity.

As you read this drop, you already know that as we grow in knowledge, we also learn new ways of thinking, which yield new results. We cannot solve challenges or issues with the same level of thinking (awareness) that created them. Of course! Otherwise, we wouldn’t have the challenges to begin with.

We must move ourselves to a higher level of awareness, begin to gather the information required to solve the issue, and when we include others in our quest, we form a mastermind.?

There is a third mind created – it shows up in new ideas that surface during conversation. You note the ideas simply ‘pop’ into your mind! The third mind of course ... is noticing and accepting new ideas from universal intelligence.

But for you – you realize that these ideas are the answers to your challenges, and you notice them and give gratitude. You know that ideas are spiritual seeds that belong to no one and flow from source to form (us), through us, and into form.

This what psychologist Alfred Adler mean when he said, “I am grateful to the idea that used me.” With our seizing that idea, holding that image consistently on the screen of our mind, moves the idea to belief, sources an associated emotion which triggers your vibration, and when we move into action based on that belief, what and who we attract and the results we evoke by Law is a mirror image of our belief.

You know however that it is just the answer you were looking for! When we mastermind, we are always moving to a higher level of awareness where the answer to the question formed on a lower level, resides.

When we intentionally put ourselves with other people who are also learners and come together in common interest, the energy of thought is palpable. As a facilitator of masterminds, I am always guiding the conversation toward resolution by asking questions that inspire new patterns of thought.

I know that the participants have access to the answer to which they seek. The questions cause some confusion and discomfort where the average person would check out of the conversation and retreat to comfort.

But for you – lifelong learners, you know that discomfort is the green light to growth in knowledge and new thinking. You know that out of confusion comes Order -- the 1st Law of the Universe. When we ‘get’ the answer, order is restored in their mind – but on a higher level of awareness of our true potential!

When working in the same company, a mastermind can quickly boost the company’s results. When people in similar businesses (e.g., realtors, salesmen) come together, their intent is to support and learn from one another.

Masterminding is also powerful with MLM down-lines. Each person grows individually – and the organization grows collectively. And when we select experts that support our, we always have access to that third mind. A goldmine!

The goal of the mastermind is to catapult results by infusing new ideas and new ways of thinking that propel us to a higher level of knowledge. The higher our knowledge, the more ideas to which we have access.

Don’t worry about how to form a mastermind. Just do it and the how-to’s will be revealed in the process. All you need is a few starting steps, and you already know them. Human happiness comes from Learning – not only reaching the goal. It’s doing it anyway, even when we are uncomfortable. When we do, we get one step closer to realizing that we each have infinite potential. [7/14/10]
