The Power of Change

This is a small note on expanding the thought - "It's not fear that causes you to avoid, but it's 'avoiding' causes you the fear."
I am currently in association with 6th company (no 7th to be true), in my career of technical ladder, and fully complacent about it. "Change is the Power".
Below are some repeated traits of 'change' that I've gone through in every transition:
- Enormous exposure to outside world - in terms of - Varied domain & technical knowledge, heterogeneous tools/processes/culture/people/business etc.
- You are not emotionally tied up / connected to a Company, rather you concentrate on the "JOB". (which is what your employer 'wants' too)
- You are "aware" of the perils of Comfort Zones (this is a separate topic to write!).
- You don't settle down, and appreciate the beauty of "Learning, Unlearning, Relearning" cycle.
- Understanding the big picture of "Your role in the company", and the "Company's role in your career/life".
Like we know very clearly the philosophy of "Change is the constant" - sometimes keeping this constant deliberately a constant, helps (at least to me so far!).
Happy changing!
