As household energy costs rise with the colder months, Cashback Card holders earned ￡1 million in cashback savings this month. As we head into winter, we encourage more customers to make the most of the UW Cashback Card. Earn cashback on Black Friday deals and Christmas gifts which translates into meaningful savings on their energy bills.

Our Cashback Card has always been a jewel in the UW crown, offering up to 10% cashback at major retailers. On average, our top Cashback Card holders have saved ￡448 each year?, leading to an annual collective saving of a whopping ￡10.2 million?? on their bills!

What's more, customers with a Cashback Card are more likely to stay with UW for longer thanks to all the cashback they earn off their UW bill.

And now it's time for the magic...

We're taking our Cashback Card to the next level with a sprinkling of 'Cashback Magic'. This magical new feature gives customers a chance to win 100% cashback on their purchases at our 55+ Retail Partners, online or in-store! Mark your calendar! The promotion started on 13 July.

Here's how it works:

• Every day, 12 Cashback Card purchases made at our Retail Partners will be picked at random and their cashback will be magically increased all the way to 100%. We’ll be paying out up to ￡5,000 per day.
• No need to opt-in – all Cashback Card holders are automatically enrolled, and winnings are automatically applied to their next UW bill.
• The magic applies to Retail Partner purchases only, where customers can earn up to 10% cashback. This could mean a free meal deal at Boots, a free weekly shop at Sainsbury’s, or something even greater.

Cashback Magic should always be referred to as a ‘daily prize draw’. It’s really important not to use terms like ‘lottery’ or ‘competition’, as this promotion does not fall under the terms ‘gambling’.
