The May version of Power BI desktop is out
This is a very quick post highlighting my 2 favourite picks:
1. Azure Maps (which in the next 12 months will replace all standard maps)
2. Measure based data labels
Azure Maps
To enable Azure Maps your Power BI Admin needs to go to Admin settings and turn it on (found under Integration Settings)
There's some nice extra features including traffic (3) and allowing the end user to pick the style (2), plus an angle view change (4)
The heat layer is a nice touch too
Measure Driven Data Labels
You can now use measures as data labels.
Go to your Data Labels -> Values and turn on Custom Label
You still have to write the DAX though ??
You can check out all the new features from the official Power BI Blog
That's my pick for this month

1 年I noticed the azure maps today but can't seem to see where to turn it on. Which admin setting area do I need to be in Wyn?
