• New Visual – 100% Stacked Area Chart : Displays relative percentages of multiple data series, always totaling 100%. Ideal for showing proportions over time. Available in the core visuals gallery, alongside the Stacked Area Chart.
• Line enhancements : This feature has enhanced the user experience of line charts in BI. With this we can 1. Adjust line color transparency 2. Customize color and transparency for each series 3. Utilize Monotone and Cardinal smooth types 4. Align visual with story using step line options.

It is expected that more enhancements in this feature will come in near future.

2.?Enhance Q&A with Copilot-generated Linguistic Relationships - Copilot now helps enhance Q&A's understanding. The feature generates synonyms for tables and columns, prompts user approval for relationships, enhances term recognition in data queries, complements existing synonyms, and can be toggled in settings.

3.?Service

• Storytelling in PowerPoint – Improved image mode in the Power BI add-in for PowerPoint: The PowerPoint add-in for Power BI introduces a new dropdown in the footer for live data or snapshot selection, offering two snapshot options with privacy considerations, and ensuring consistent snapshot display across both desktop and web versions.
• Storytelling in PowerPoint – Continuous slide show auto refresh: PowerPoint now supports continuous presentation playback. PowerPoint introduces continuous presentation playback, accompanied by a new automatic refresh feature in the Power BI add-in, ensuring data freshness during slide show mode, eliminating outdated data on public displays, and enabling seamless display of up-to-date information without manual intervention, accessible via add-in options in the footer.

To enable automatic refresh, go to the add-in footer, select?Add-in options, choose?Slide show settings, check?Automatic refresh in slide show?and set the desired frequency.

• Storytelling in PowerPoint – Auto populating the slide title: Power BI add-in now suggests slide titles. The feature offers content-based suggestions for slide titles, providing options such as report name, page/visual name, or both, simplifying the slide creation process with relevant titles.
• Introducing the Fabric metadata scanning sample app: Announcing Fabric metadata scanning app. The app utilizes Fabric's scanner APIs for metadata scanning, serving as a comprehensive reference for administrators by handling API calling steps, offering customization options through a central configuration file, and supporting authentication via service principal or delegated token.
• Dynamic Subscriptions for Power BI and paginated reports: Announced expanded per-recipient subscriptions in Power BI. The update raises the recipient limit to 1000 from 50, automatically adjusts existing subscriptions if data supports it, enables dynamic per-recipient subscriptions from semantic model data, and allows users to opt out of automatic sending by editing subscriptions.

• Supporting Folders in workspace: Power BI Mobile apps now support accessing items organized in folders within workspaces, although only Power BI items are accessible in the app, resulting in empty folders if they solely contain non-Power BI items.
• New “Clear barcode” action in the report footer: The feature allows users to scan barcodes of real objects with their mobile device camera to filter reports built on the model, facilitating quick access to relevant data, particularly beneficial for retail, and includes a new one-click button in the report footer to clear previously scanned barcodes from the filter.
• Open Power BI items in full screen mode: The Power BI Mobile app now offers full-screen viewing for enhanced accessibility, allowing users to maximize their data experience, with options to configure this setting in-app or via an AppConfig file for MDM tools, and enabling full-screen mode through a query parameter in item links on mobile devices.
